 Organiser: The local pub: BADL (beer all day long) organises the event and provides all the beer. They do stress however that they are not responsible for any trouble!
Description: The Drinking Competition is -like the name says- an 'all in one' Competition: everybody can join the game but you need to have a great drinking capability otherwise you don't stand much change. The Competition is about 3 events: the drinking, the running and the pissing. First up is the drinking: they all have one hour to drink as much as they can! The contestant who drinks the most, gets the most points. The second one gets one point less and so one until the last drinker who is awarded one point. Then the players have to run to a line 500 meters (about 500 yards) away from the pub, this is the most hilarious part of the competition for the spectators. Some participants don't make it to the third and final event because they fall and can't get back on there feet.
When the players reach the line the have to stand (somewhat) still. At this point they can .uhm...relieve themselves. The object is to get as far as they can. Points are awarded in the same way for the second and third part as in the drinking part. The winner may drink one year for free at BADL's but the tree worst contestants have to drink beer again. The loser 6 bottles the second last 4 and the third last 2.
Agenda: It starts around 6pm and they take about 2 hours for the whole game.
Social crowd: This event draws a rather big crowd of spectators.
