Rolling Barrel Race

 

 


Organiser: Sir Heredictus Druegon, ale salesmen

Description: The contestants place their barrel behind the starting line on a not too steep hill. They then start running down the hill on top of their barrel trying to get to the finish line, overcoming little ramps and other obstacles placed along the route. Even some entertainers are hired by Heredictus will be spitting flames at them.
If they get over the finish still running on there barrel, they will get the barrel filled with fine ale. The first one to finish will also get  a miniaturised golden statue! Druegon Ale, the best Rhulic ale in whole the country.

10.30 first race I
10.35 price award
10.40 ale promotion and free drinks for every tenth visitor

11.00 second race II
11.05 price award
11.10 ale drinking contest

12.30 third race III
12.35 price award
12.40 all you can booze for 2 silver pieces

13.30 fourth race IV
13.35 price award
13.40 all you can booze for 2 silver pieces

16.00 last race
16.05 price award
16.10 heavy race I with more danger 
16.15 price award

16.20 begin ale festivities

18.20 you have to be drunk to race I
18.25 price award (free ale for an hour)

18.30 you have to be drunk to race II
18.35 same as above price award

18.40 party

24.00 special party with Druegon himself the mighty drunken dwarf brewer

4.00 end festivities

Social Crowd: Lots of drunk people and commoners laughing with the barrel runners will gather here.
Some higher social classes might attend but this is rather seldom. A lot of hired bards are present to entertain the people and to get them start drinking.
