Organiser: The guild masters of the Corvis Brewers Guild.
Description: The Corvis Brewers Guild puts on its annual Founding Day Beer Tasting Festival. An all-day extravaganza of the finest beers that Corvis has to offer. As well as the main event, held on Brewery Lane, bars, pubs, saloons, beer gardens and taverns will be participating throughout the city. Lagers and ales of all descriptions are up for consumption, from the oldest, most carefully guarded recipes to the master's latest creations! This is an event not to be missed!
Agenda: Brewery Lane will officially begin its festivities at 11 a.m. All the major breweries will be well- represented, with serving tents set up along the street by each participant, offering a cornucopia of refreshing and tasty beverages. Each brewery will host its own events and entertainments throughout the day. At 3 p.m. the official taste-test begins with medals being awarded to the best of each category. The award ceremony commences at 5 p.m., traditionally followed by victory celebrations by the winning contestants, held in their own beer garden or brewery, usually offering drinks 'on the house' and tours for a pittance. The festivities officially end at midnight, though celebrations often continue well past, with the ever-helpful city watch offering assistance to citizens who have had their fill of the days events.
Participating locations will open at various times.
Social Crowd: This event draws people of all classes and walks of life, for truly beer makes brothers of us all! From elite aficionados to the town drunkards, this event runs the social gamut. The greatest part, however, seems to be those of the 'middling sort'; the working man if you will, those sort of folks who appreciate a good beer after a hard days work. This event also tends to draw a large number of 'ladies', especially as the evening wears on.
The astute citizen will note that the city watch is also well-represented, with strategically placed command posts near all the tents of the city's most reputable brewers in order to keep the peace.
