Jack riding

Organiser: The Iron Workers Guild. Head man is Baelin Blackhammer

Description: You have to ride an enraged Labor Jack for 8 seconds and hope he doesn't rip you in half. Out of the 16 years of us doing the annual Jack riding on Corvis Founding Day, it has been a site to see for all walks of life and all classes. Size of the participants does not matter but it's highly recommended to be somewhat agile.  We have only had 2 accidents in the entire 16 years of this event wherein the contestants were trampled.

Agenda: The first day is registration and 4 qualifying rounds that last all day. Each round consists of 12 riders and the best three riders advance to the next round. The next round features again 12 riders of which the best three advance to the finals. The best rider of these three wins the trophy of Iron Will.

Social crowd: The nobles, peasants, low standing citizens , working girls and the local "Porter" house.
