The Annual Running of the Bull's Brew |

Organiser: Bull, the owner of the Falling Star Tavern
Description:
Contestants, as many as the streets will fit, run a predetermined course through the old city, chasing after some mounted mock-Orgoth invaders. The trick is that they have to drink alcoholic beverages at a number of stations, each sponsored by a different tavern/bar/winery/etc. Part of the course would go through the Undercity, over a bridge spanning one of the rivers, . Everyone begins in the market square, where they sign a mock treaty. Father Pandor Dumas blesses the crowd and then Captain Helstrom, whose men are stationed along the route (along with other Captains' men) fires a pistol into the air.
Agenda:
8th bell: The crowd starts to gather.
9th bell: The market area is in full swing and treaties are made available for signature.
Just before 10th bell: Father Dumas blesses the crowd while Captain Helstrom explains the simple rules. Then the mayor describes the route.
10th bell: Helstrom fires the pistol and the race begins.
4th bell: The race officially ends (even if no one has crossed the finish line, which is at the market square's opposite end).
Social crowd: Due to the huge crowds, and diversity thereof, nobility usually isn't present (other than a priest who blesses the crowd/event beforehand). Now, in addition to the Buccaneer Bass and the Falling Star, many other purveyors of alcoholic beverages are present. Each station has the prettiest wenches handing out mugs of ale or whatever.
