Anyone

Potion'? |

The PCs are staying at an Inn (or similar guest house) for a few days, and one of the PCs is notably far more emotional than normal. The affected PC now has outbursts of sobbing and anger in situations that would normally pass by without a pause for thought.
- One of the kitchen maids (or stable boys) that works at the Inn has a severe crush on the affected PC and has been secretly drugging him or her with doses of 'Rippen's Joyful Tears Potion' in the hopes that the 'perfect moment' will come. The maid/stable boy is grotesquely ugly, which is why they have resorted to such drastic measures.
- Members of a gang in Five Fingers have managed to get hold of some vials of 'Rippen's Joyful Tears Potion'. They have been slipping the potion into one of the PCs drinks whenever possible in order to cause upheaval in the PCs criminal syndicate/gang. Note: This option is for those playing a campaign within Five Fingers as part of a criminal group. The higher the PC is within the criminal organisation the better this option works.
- An experimental herbalist has been trying to find a way of focusing the stimulant effect of 'Rippen's Joyful Tears Potion' to the extent that the side-effects of sobbing, outbursts of anger etc, are close to nil. Unfortunately he has chosen to use one of the PCs as his unknowing test-subject. The results of the experiment are not promising and all the herbalist has managed to do is increase the side-effects of the potion.
In this option the will check to negate the effects of 'Rippen's Joyful Tears Potion' is increased to DC20 and if a DC15 will check is succeeded the effect is only halved. (e.g. PC becomes tearful instead of sobbing, and becomes bitter instead of outright anger).
