While stopping for a rest in a small
town, the adventurers discover it in an uproar. Two
young children have gone missing. The primary suspect
is a druid who has been assailing local logging operations
with her Woldwardens. The local Morrowan priest asks
for the adventurers help before an angry mob goes
after the druid and causes a local war with the Circle.
- The Morrowan priest is actually
a Fallen. He has abducted the children for a Thamarite
ritual. He's framed the circle and is playing the
ever-so-altruistic peacemaker to throw the townsfolk
off his trail.
- A Trapperkin is on the loose.
And the children are about to become its next meal.
- Yes, the Druid did kidnap the
children. Because they are hers! The woman had an
affair with a local woodcutter resulting in the
twin boy and girl. At first content to let their
father raise them, it was revealed by the Potent
of the Circle that these twins have a special destiny.
What is the purpose of the Druid Twins?
