The
party stumbles upon a beaten and bloodied
trollkin. |

|
The party, on the road towards their
next stop-over, finds a beaten and bloodied trollkin
in the ditch at the roadside who asks for the party's
assistance.
- The Troll, knowing he will heal,
agreed to this pummelling as part of a ruse to dupe
the party into letting their guard down for a band
of raiders.
- The troll was driven out of the
nearby town under suspicion of assaulting the town
guard, and if the party returns him there they will
face defending a stranger or turning him over for
more punishment after trying to help.
- The Troll was acting as a bodyguard
for a caravan or shipment that was ambushed. He
struggled to the road to try and seek help for his
captured or worse employer.
