Pitch

After a raid on a Cygnaran merchant port, Cygnar deploys an infiltration party of skilled stealth assassins (6 Trenchers with Move Silently as a base skill, and a Journeyman) and two Hunter light warjacks. The raiders have one badly damaged Repenter, one good quality Revenger, one slightly damaged Crusader, a Warcaster of low rank, 4 Knights Exemplar and a Steamjack for carrying the supplies. Supplies include 5 crates which have inside the crates 2 Cortexes each, almost forty thousand Crowns, and various weaponry such as rifles and swords.

Alternatives

  • A PC makes a skill check (DC whatever Game Master decides) for tracking the raiding party.  If the DC is passed, they continue to hunt and track the raiding party.  They catch the assailants. After the battle, the tracking group stashes the retrieved loot in a dug out cache covered by bushes, and go to contact the higher authorities for retrieving the stolen and now returned goods.
  • A PC makes a skill check (DC whatever Game Master decides) for tracking the raiding party. The tracking group attacks the assailants, but from the bushes an ambush team attacks the party. They either defeat the ambush party, and manage to defeat the weakened assault party, or fail to defeat the ambush/assault party and are forced to retreat back to Cygnar.
  • A PC makes a skill check (DC whatever Game Master decides) for tracking the raiding party. The tracking group attacks the assailants, but from the bushes an ambush team attacks the party. During the battle the party or the attackers accidentally destroy portions of the goods, and after both have suffered heavy losses they return to their homelands, with little to no captured/reclaimed goods.
