A font from a Morrowan temple has been stolen. Due to its importance to the priests of Morrow, the Rector has hired the adventurers to recover it. The only clue as to the thieves’ identity is a strange silver coin on a chain left at the scene. As the party investigates they become aware of a stranger shadowing them.
- The font was stolen by teenage vandals as a prank. The coin belonged to one of them; a girl named Tess. The coin bears the crest of a long thought dead noble family. But recently it was discovered that a scion of the family survived and his sole descendent is Tess. The stranger is an assassin working for "interests" that wish for the girl never to learn of her inheritance or try to claim it.
- The font contained a map to the supposed hiding place of a religious artefact. The coin bears the symbol of a mysterious order of monks seeking the artefact. The stranger is a professor from the Corvis University who has been researching the legends surrounding the monks. He is still uncertain as to the ultimate goals of the order.
- An eccentric millionaire has promised his fortune to the winner(s) of a scavenger hunt. The font was on the list of items as was the coin. But the clumsy gobber dropped the coin. Now the party seeks the gobber to get the font, the gobber is looking for the party to get the coin, and the stranger (who is also participating in the hunt)is looking for both.
