Jared Feyal was, until a few months ago, an unknown bard working in spotty taverns and inns. Suddenly all that changed when he became famous, performing for several nobles during parties and even weddings.
Last night however, a maid found his dead body. It appears he was murdered in a most gruesome way and his body savaged after his death.
The city guard, unable to resolve the crime, asks for anyone who might have a lead.
- Jared wasn't a bard at all, in fact he was a spy sent to divulge secrets from the local nobility. He was found out by the nation's counter intelligence agency and murdered in a particularly gruesome way to scare off other potential and already active spies.
- Jared made a deal with an
Infernal Curator
in order to become famous. When the time came to uphold his end of the bargain he refused and tried to fight his way out. This proved a fatal mistake.
- A nobleman saw Jared with the young lady he himself was courting. Convinced his love and Jared's relationship went beyond "professional", he became mad with rage. He went to confront Jared but the argument escalated into a fight and the nobleman murdered Jared.
